Why Polka Dots Took Over My Boutique (At Least for Tonight)

I don’t always go looking for a specific trend.
Sometimes, the trend finds me.
Tonight, it was polka dots.
It started with one pair of adorable barrel jeans. Then I found a ruched top. Next came a cozy lounge set. Before I knew it, my browser was full of polka dots, and I wasn’t even mad about it.
That’s kind of how my brain works.
Once I find something that makes me smile, I start imagining all the ways it can fit into a wardrobe. I picture the woman wearing it to a coffee date, strolling through a farmers market, heading to brunch with friends, or simply feeling confident while running errands.
Suddenly, I’m building an entire collection around one little detail.
Why Polka Dots Never Really Go Out of Style
Polka dots are one of those rare prints that somehow manage to feel both playful and timeless.
They’re feminine without being overly sweet.

The Collection I Didn’t Plan
Tonight’s boutique additions all had one thing in common.
✨ A cozy cream lounge set sprinkled with classic black dots.
✨ A soft cocoa ruched top with delicate ivory dots.
✨ Statement barrel jeans that somehow made me fall in love with polka dots all over again.
Was I intentionally creating a polka dot collection?
Not exactly.
But sometimes that’s the fun of owning a boutique.
I get excited about a style, and I hope that excitement comes through when you shop.

Unlike big retailers that follow buying calendars months in advance, I get to curate collections based on what genuinely catches my eye.
Some nights it’s florals.
Some nights it’s cozy cardigans.
Some nights it’s all things cottagecore.
And apparently… some nights it’s polka dots.
I love letting inspiration lead the way because I know if a piece makes me stop scrolling, chances are it’ll make someone else smile too.
